This year, King's College London Malaysian & Singaporean Society (KCLMSS) is proud to present ‘Something Borrowed, Something Blue’, which focuses on family dynamics, love and modern day problems to bring to you a celebration of talents amongst the Malaysian and Singaporean population in King’s College London.

'Something Borrowed, Something Blue' diverges a little from the yearly recurring theme of student life and studying abroad to provide something new and refreshing. The musical will see two sisters struggle with their respective issues- one to keep her marriage going and the other to convince that marriage is the right decision for her at a young age.

This is our humble attempt to portray the concerns of marriage, parent-children relationship and love in today's modern family. The ups and downs of their struggles with various issues will be portrayed through heart-wrenching songs and dance choreography, promising a memorable show for all those who attend.

All proceeds of the musical will be donated for charitable purposes, including aiding the flood relief efforts in Malaysia after facing the country’s worst flooding in decades. Other than the flood relief efforts, we will also donate our proceeds to a Singaporean charity, notably adopting a Make A Wish cause or to the Singapore Pocket Money fund. We highly urge all invited to attend for not just a night of good fun but also to support a great cause.
